Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all digital professional services purchased from Trenti Guild, including:

  • Employment Contract Risk Review
  • Freelance Agreement Assessment
  • Workplace Policy Documentation Review
  • Independent Contractor Classification Check
  • Service Agreement Risk Analysis
  • Business Document Compliance Checklist

By purchasing a service from Trenti Guild, the client confirms that they have reviewed and accepted this Policy.

1. Digital Services Only

Trenti Guild provides exclusively digital professional services. We do not sell, manufacture, deliver, or ship physical products.

All services are completed remotely and may include digital document reviews, written observations, risk summaries, customized checklists, general informational recommendations, clarification questions, and electronic reports.

Because no physical goods are supplied:

  • No physical returns are accepted or required.
  • No return shipping process is available.
  • No physical return address is provided.
  • The traditional right to return an unused physical product does not apply.
  • A completed report, checklist, review, assessment, or other digital deliverable cannot be physically returned after delivery.

References to “returns” in this Policy relate only to requests for refunds, cancellations, corrections, or replacement digital files.

2. Nature of the Services

Each service is prepared using the information, documents, and instructions supplied by the client. The services may be personalized and created specifically for an individual order.

Once work begins, Trenti Guild may spend time reviewing submitted materials, organizing information, identifying relevant clauses, preparing observations, and creating the final digital deliverable. For this reason, refund eligibility may depend on whether work has started, how much work has been completed, and whether the final deliverable has already been sent or made accessible.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

A client may request cancellation before Trenti Guild has started reviewing the submitted documents or preparing the service.

When cancellation is requested before any work has begun, the client may be eligible for a full refund of the service price.

Payment processing charges, currency conversion charges, banking fees, platform commissions, or other non-refundable transaction expenses may be deducted where permitted by applicable law.

A cancellation request is not considered accepted until Trenti Guild confirms it in writing.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

If the client requests cancellation after work has started but before the final digital deliverable has been completed, Trenti Guild may issue a partial refund.

The refundable amount will be determined according to:

  • The amount of work already completed.
  • The number and length of documents already reviewed.
  • The time spent analyzing the submitted materials.
  • The complexity of the order.
  • Any draft findings, notes, checklists, or reports already prepared.
  • Administrative and payment processing costs.
  • Any additional work requested by the client.

The portion corresponding to completed work is non-refundable.

If most of the service has already been completed, the order may no longer qualify for a refund even if the final file has not yet been sent.

5. Completed and Delivered Services

Once a completed digital report, checklist, assessment, analysis, review, or other deliverable has been sent, downloaded, opened, accessed, or otherwise made available to the client, the service is generally considered completed and non-refundable.

A refund will not normally be issued solely because:

  • The client changed their mind.
  • The client no longer needs the service.
  • The client decided not to use the report.
  • The client signed or rejected an agreement before reading the report.
  • The client expected a different conclusion.
  • The review did not identify the risks the client expected.
  • The client disagrees with an observation or recommendation.
  • The client expected legal representation or formal legal advice.
  • The client expected guaranteed approval, compliance, employment, negotiation success, or another specific result.
  • The client failed to read the service description before purchasing.
  • The client purchased the wrong service.
  • The client submitted incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or misleading information.
  • The client did not respond to requests for clarification.
  • The client failed to download or access the delivered file.
  • The client’s email system placed the delivery message in a spam or junk folder.

However, Trenti Guild will review reasonable concerns involving non-delivery, technical defects, duplicate payments, or a material failure to provide the purchased service.

6. Duplicate Purchase or Duplicate Payment

A full refund may be issued when the client is charged more than once for the same order because of a verified technical or payment-processing error.

The client must provide sufficient information to identify the duplicate transaction, such as:

  • Payment date.
  • Transaction reference.
  • Amount charged.
  • Payment method.
  • Order confirmation.
  • Screenshot or statement showing both charges.

A refund will not be issued where the client intentionally purchased separate services, placed multiple orders, or submitted different documents for separate reviews.

7. Accidental Purchase

An accidental purchase may qualify for a refund only when:

  • The client contacts Trenti Guild promptly.
  • Work has not started.
  • No digital deliverable has been provided.
  • The service has not been accessed or used.
  • The accidental purchase can be reasonably verified.

Once work begins, any refund may be reduced according to the work already completed.

8. Incorrect Service Purchased

If the client purchases the wrong service, they should contact Trenti Guild before work begins.

Where possible, the payment may be transferred to another Trenti Guild service. If the replacement service has a higher price, the client must pay the difference. If it has a lower price, the remaining amount may be refunded or credited at Trenti Guild’s discretion and subject to applicable law.

A full refund may not be available after work has begun on the originally purchased service.

9. Failure to Deliver the Service

A client may be eligible for a full or partial refund if Trenti Guild is unable to provide the purchased service.

Examples may include:

  • Trenti Guild confirms that the order cannot be completed.
  • The service is cancelled by Trenti Guild.
  • A permanent technical issue prevents preparation and delivery.
  • The submitted document is outside the stated scope and no suitable alternative is agreed upon.
  • An unexpected operational issue prevents completion within a reasonable extended period.
  • The service was mistakenly listed as available when it could not be provided.

Before issuing a refund, Trenti Guild may offer:

  • A revised delivery date.
  • A replacement digital service.
  • An alternative service of equivalent value.
  • A partial delivery with a partial refund.
  • Store credit, where accepted by the client.

The client is not required to accept store credit instead of a refund where applicable law requires a monetary refund.

10. Delayed Delivery

The delivery periods displayed on the website are estimates unless a specific deadline has been confirmed in writing.

A delay does not automatically qualify the client for a full refund, particularly when the delay results from:

  • Late document submission.
  • Incomplete materials.
  • Unreadable or corrupted files.
  • Additional documents submitted after work begins.
  • Delayed responses from the client.
  • Changes to the requested scope.
  • Unusually long or complex documents.
  • Technical problems outside Trenti Guild’s reasonable control.
  • Weekends, public holidays, or banking delays.
  • Events beyond reasonable control.

If Trenti Guild causes a significant delay and the service has not been substantially completed, the client may request cancellation. Depending on the amount of work already completed, a full or partial refund may be considered.

11. Missing or Non-Delivered Digital File

If the client does not receive the completed digital deliverable, they should first check:

  • Spam and junk folders.
  • The email address entered during checkout.
  • Available storage space.
  • Email attachment restrictions.
  • Download links previously supplied.
  • Messages requesting additional information.

If the file was sent to the email address provided by the client, the service may be considered delivered. However, Trenti Guild may resend the file to the same or a corrected email address without an additional charge.

A refund will generally not be issued when the delivery issue can be resolved by resending the file or providing a new download link.

12. Corrupted, Damaged, or Inaccessible File

If a delivered file is corrupted, incomplete, unreadable, or cannot be opened using commonly available software, Trenti Guild will first attempt to correct the issue.

Possible solutions may include:

  • Resending the original file.
  • Providing the document in another commonly used digital format.
  • Repairing the file.
  • Supplying a replacement download link.
  • Dividing a large document into smaller files.

A refund may be considered only if Trenti Guild cannot provide a working replacement within a reasonable period.

The client may not qualify for a refund where the problem is caused by unsupported software, outdated devices, insufficient storage, blocked downloads, local security settings, or another issue outside Trenti Guild’s control.

13. Incomplete or Incorrect Deliverable

The client should review the deliverable promptly after receipt.

A correction or partial refund may be considered if the delivered service:

  • Omits a significant part of the agreed scope.
  • Reviews the wrong document due to an error made by Trenti Guild.
  • Contains a material technical or administrative mistake.
  • Does not correspond to the service purchased.
  • Is missing an expressly included section.
  • Is substantially incomplete.

Trenti Guild must first be given a reasonable opportunity to correct, complete, replace, or reissue the deliverable.

A refund may not be issued when the concern can be reasonably resolved through correction or replacement.

Minor formatting preferences, stylistic differences, wording preferences, or disagreements with professional observations do not normally qualify as material defects.

14. Service Not as Described

A client may submit a refund request if the delivered service is materially different from the description available at the time of purchase.

The request must explain:

  • Which part of the advertised service was not provided.
  • How the delivered work materially differs from the description.
  • What correction or resolution is requested.
  • Any relevant supporting information.

A refund will not normally be approved when the service matches the published scope but does not include features, reviews, revisions, legal opinions, or other work that was not advertised or agreed upon.

15. Client Dissatisfaction

Client satisfaction is important to Trenti Guild. However, dissatisfaction alone does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund.

Digital document reviews involve professional judgment, interpretation, and informational observations. Different professionals may express conclusions differently.

Before requesting a refund, the client may ask Trenti Guild to clarify:

  • A specific observation.
  • The structure of the report.
  • The meaning of a general recommendation.
  • A potentially unclear section.
  • Whether an agreed item was included.

Trenti Guild may offer reasonable corrections or clarifications. Additional analysis, new documents, expanded scope, contract rewriting, or legal research may require a separate purchase.

16. Errors in Information Supplied by the Client

The accuracy and usefulness of the service depend on the documents and information supplied by the client.

Refunds will generally not be issued when problems result from:

  • Incorrect client details.
  • Missing pages.
  • Incomplete agreements.
  • Outdated document versions.
  • Illegible scans.
  • Password-protected files without the password.
  • Missing attachments or schedules.
  • Incorrect information in a questionnaire.
  • Failure to disclose relevant circumstances.
  • Submission of a different document after the review is completed.
  • Misleading or false information.

If the client later provides corrected or additional information, a new or updated review may require an additional fee.

17. Changes Requested After Purchase

The purchased service covers only the scope described on the website or separately agreed upon in writing.

The following may be treated as additional work:

  • Reviewing additional agreements.
  • Reviewing a revised version of the document.
  • Comparing multiple versions.
  • Adding documents after the original review begins.
  • Expanding the report into a different service.
  • Rewriting an agreement.
  • Providing jurisdiction-specific legal research.
  • Preparing negotiation correspondence.
  • Adding urgent delivery.
  • Requesting repeated revisions beyond the agreed scope.

A client is not entitled to a refund because additional work requires an additional payment.

18. Failure to Submit Required Documents

If the client purchases a service but does not provide the required documents, information, or questionnaire responses, Trenti Guild may place the order on hold.

If the client remains unresponsive for an extended period, the order may be closed.

A refund may be reduced by:

  • Administrative work already completed.
  • Payment processing expenses.
  • Initial document checks.
  • Communication and preparation time.
  • Any customized work already performed.

Where no substantive work has begun, Trenti Guild may consider a full or partial refund.

19. Unsupported or Prohibited Documents

Trenti Guild may decline or cancel an order involving documents or requests that:

  • Fall outside the published service scope.
  • Require representation by a licensed attorney.
  • Require formal legal advice in a specific jurisdiction.
  • Involve unlawful, deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
  • Request falsification or concealment of information.
  • Require Trenti Guild to participate in misconduct.
  • Cannot be safely or responsibly reviewed.
  • Are submitted without appropriate authorization.

If an order is refused before work begins, the client may receive a full refund, less unavoidable transaction fees where legally permitted.

If concerns become apparent after work has begun, a partial refund may be issued based on the uncompleted portion.

20. Unauthorized Purchase or Payment Fraud

A refund request involving an allegedly unauthorized transaction must be supported by relevant information.

Trenti Guild may cooperate with payment processors, financial institutions, and lawful investigations.

No refund will be issued directly to a person who cannot reasonably verify the purchase. Any approved refund will normally be returned to the original payment method.

Orders connected to suspected fraud, stolen payment information, false chargeback claims, or abusive purchasing activity may be cancelled and reported where appropriate.

21. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact Trenti Guild before opening a chargeback or payment dispute.

Opening a chargeback does not automatically establish that a refund is due. Trenti Guild may provide the payment processor with:

  • Order details.
  • Service descriptions.
  • Client communications.
  • Submitted documents.
  • Evidence of completed work.
  • Delivery records.
  • File access records.
  • Refund policy acceptance records.

Fraudulent, misleading, or abusive chargebacks may result in suspension of future services.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

22. Promotional Codes, Discounts, and Bundled Services

Refunds for discounted orders are calculated using the amount actually paid, not the standard service price.

For bundled services:

  • Completed items are non-refundable.
  • Started items may be deducted according to the work performed.
  • Only the eligible uncompleted portion may be refunded.
  • Bundle discounts may be recalculated if part of the bundle is cancelled.

Promotional codes have no separate cash value and are not refunded as cash.

23. Currency Conversion and Banking Fees

Payments and refunds may be processed in a particular currency.

The final refunded amount received by the client may differ from the original amount because of:

  • Exchange-rate changes.
  • Currency conversion charges.
  • Bank fees.
  • Card issuer fees.
  • Payment processor fees.
  • International transaction charges.

Trenti Guild is not responsible for fees or exchange-rate differences imposed by third parties unless required by applicable law.

24. Refund Method

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.

Trenti Guild may request reasonable information to locate and verify the transaction.

Refunds cannot normally be sent:

  • To an unrelated person.
  • To a different card or account.
  • Through an unverified payment method.
  • In cash.
  • To payment details that cannot be connected to the original purchase.

If the original payment method is no longer available, an alternative method may be considered where legally and technically possible.

25. Refund Processing Time

Trenti Guild will initiate an approved refund within a reasonable period after confirming eligibility.

After initiation, banks and payment providers may require additional time to display the funds. Trenti Guild cannot control processing times imposed by financial institutions or payment processors.

26. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, please contact Trenti Guild at info@trent-guil.online and provide the following information:

  • Full name.
  • Email address used for the order.
  • Order number or transaction reference.
  • Name of the purchased service.
  • Purchase date.
  • Reason for the request.
  • Relevant supporting documents or screenshots.
  • Preferred resolution, such as correction, replacement, partial refund, or full refund.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed according to the service status, completed work, submitted evidence, this Policy, and applicable consumer protection requirements.

27. Time Limit for Refund Requests

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as the client becomes aware of an issue and, where permitted by applicable law, no later than 14 calendar days after the purchase or delivery date.

Requests involving duplicate charges, file defects, missing deliverables, or material service errors should be submitted promptly so the issue can be investigated.

This period does not reduce any mandatory consumer rights that apply under relevant law.

28. Corrections Before Refunds

Where appropriate, Trenti Guild may first offer a reasonable solution instead of an immediate refund, including:

  • Correcting an error.
  • Completing a missing section.
  • Resending the file.
  • Replacing a corrupted file.
  • Clarifying an observation.
  • Providing the correct deliverable.
  • Reformatting the document.
  • Completing the remaining agreed work.

If the issue cannot be reasonably corrected, a partial or full refund may then be considered.

29. Non-Refundable Situations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, a refund will generally not be available when:

  • The service has been fully completed and delivered.
  • The client has accessed or used the digital deliverable.
  • The client simply changed their mind.
  • The service is no longer needed.
  • The client expected a guaranteed outcome.
  • The client disagrees with a professional observation.
  • The client did not read the service description.
  • The client supplied incomplete or incorrect documents.
  • The client requested work outside the agreed scope.
  • The client failed to respond or provide required information.
  • The client caused the delivery delay.
  • The file can be resent or replaced.
  • The issue relates only to a minor formatting preference.
  • The client purchased the service for another person without proper authorization.
  • The client violated the Terms of Service.
  • The client used false, unlawful, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • The requested refund concerns completed customized work.
  • The client has already received a replacement, correction, or agreed resolution.

30. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy excludes, limits, or replaces any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Some jurisdictions provide special rights concerning digital content, digital services, cancellation periods, defective services, or services that begin immediately with the consumer’s consent.

Where mandatory law conflicts with this Policy, the mandatory legal requirement will apply.

31. No Legal Representation

Trenti Guild provides general informational document review and organizational support. Services do not constitute legal representation and do not create an attorney-client relationship.

Trenti Guild does not guarantee that a reviewed document:

  • Complies with every law or regulation.
  • Will be accepted by a court, authority, employer, contractor, or client.
  • Will prevent a dispute.
  • Will produce a particular business or employment outcome.
  • Is suitable for every jurisdiction.
  • Replaces advice from a licensed legal professional.

A refund will not be issued solely because a client later receives a different opinion from another professional.

32. Policy Updates

Trenti Guild may update this Refund and Returns Policy to reflect changes in services, business practices, payment methods, or legal requirements.

The version in effect on the purchase date will generally apply to that order, except where a later change is required by applicable law.
